As a graduate of the Simmons University Clinical Social Work program in 2021, she brings extensive experience working with families, children, adolescents, and teens. Her therapeutic approach centers on creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel empowered to express themselves openly. She believes in "real talk"—straightforward and honest communication that encourages transparency and helps address difficult topics constructively. She specializes in several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Her philosophy is that you already have the answers within you; her role is to provide the tools and strategies to uncover those answers. Together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and any obstacles, helping you build healthy boundaries, achieve your personal goals, and create meaningful, supportive relationships. Her goal is to support you every step of the way, guiding you toward meaningful change and personal growth. She understands that navigating trauma can be incredibly challenging, and she is here to offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. We will explore your experiences at your own pace, addressing difficult emotions and building the tools you need to heal and move forward. She believes in your inner strength and resilience. She is committed to guiding and supporting you as you build confidence, set healthy boundaries, and empower yourself to overcome obstacles and reclaim your life.

Our therapeutic relationship will be different from your relationships with friends or loved ones in a few important ways. First and foremost, this space is entirely for you. That means we're not here to meet my needs or to maintain a mutual relationship the way you might with a friend or a partner. Instead, I'm here to support you understand your feelings, and help you grow without judgment or expectation.
I sometimes give you tasks to work on between sessions, but always with your consent, pace, and preferences in mind. I don't assign homework in a rigid, school-like way. Therapy isn't about "doing it right" or "checking boxes." But between sessions, you might notice that insights come up, emotions stir, or patterns surface, and that's part of the work, too.
Therapy is a welcoming space you can look forward to each week, where you can focus on becoming the best version of yourself. It is a safe haven for learning new skills and sharing joys and struggles. In therapy, you can truly be yourself without fear of judgment; it's a place where you can laugh, cry, reflect, and open up about your experiences. This journey helps you gain insight into your past and present and empowers you to navigate your future with greater understanding and clarity.
