Learn to love the life you live! I believe that every individual has the power to find inner peace. Through specific techniques, talk therapy, and structured goals, we can work together to overcome all hardships to live a happy and successful life. I find that being structured, goal-oriented, and thorough leads to a powerful change for the individual. I believe in all my clients and value positive psychology. I studied psychology for over 10 years and graduated from New York University with honors and a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness. Throughout my experiences, I have seen success in working with individuals on the autistic spectrum, addictions, various anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, and emotional eating disorders. However, my scope of knowledge is not limited to the populations listed above. My theoretical approach is catered to the individual's needs and I specifically modify my methods based on what one needs to achieve their desired outcome. In most cases, I tend to combine Behavioral, Cognitive, Person-Centered, and Psychodynamic perspectives. Furthermore, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) are the primary modalities I use in my sessions. DBT is a motivational model that consists of having the control of awareness to be present to an experience and it's outcome and then learning how to specifically modify your vision and get your preferred outcome. MBCT teaches an individual to be fully present in the moment and therefore have control over their feelings and thoughts. REBT consists of modifying your impractical and irrational beliefs to experience a rational and practical outcome. In witnessing breakthroughs, I have come to realize that various techniques and tools contribute to optimal success. I believe that each client may process therapy differently and it is essential to utilize multiple approaches when attempting to find the most suitable fit for each individual case.

I am neutral, non-biased, and non-judgmental. I try my best to help you feel as comfortable as you can when sharing your thoughts or personal experiences with me.
I am extremely passionate, dedicated, and driven. I work in a customized way to fit each client's independent needs. I don't believe in a one size fits all approach. I put my heart into my work, and because I love it, I am willing to work harder than others to help clients get to where they want to be.
