I founded Saltaire Psychology because everyone can use support during life’s more difficult moments—whether it’s relationship conflict, chronic illness, or a major life transition. I work with individuals and couples on issues like dating, breakups, communication, pregnancy and parenthood, trauma, insomnia, grief, and life changes. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, focused on helping you move forward with clarity. After earning my Ph.D. at Fordham University and completing my internship and post-doctoral training at the Brooklyn VA, I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals and couples navigating both everyday stressors and deeply personal struggles. I understand your time is valuable. Many clients work with me for several months or longer, but the pace and duration of therapy always depend on your goals. I’m currently accepting a limited number of new clients. If you’d like to connect, please reach out.

I don’t underestimate how difficult it can be for patients to attend their first appointment with a therapist. In the first session, you should expect to have an open conversation about your concerns and goals. I am really just looking to get to know you, understand your concerns, and figure out how I can help. If you are feeling ambivalent about therapy, I encourage you to try one session and see how you feel.
I am trained in both structured and unstructured approaches. I tailor treatment to each patient's presenting problem and treatment goals.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is collaborative. I try to strike a delicate balance between providing space for the patient and offering my perspective.
