I work with teens and adults who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, burnout, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, ADHD-related overwhelm, and LGBTQIA+-related concerns. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or tired of carrying everything on their own. Therapy can be a space to better understand yourself, feel more grounded, build healthier boundaries, and move through life with more confidence and support. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. In sessions, we may explore the deeper roots of what you’re going through while also building practical tools to help you manage emotions, cope with stress, and create change outside of therapy. I’ve worked in private practice, school, and community settings, and I care deeply about creating a space where clients feel understood, respected, and safe enough to be real. As a Brazilian therapist living in the U.S., I also bring an appreciation for how culture, identity, family dynamics, and lived experience can shape healing.

Therapy is different because it is a space that is fully centered on your needs, your patterns, and your healing. In relationships with friends or loved ones, there are often shared roles, expectations, or emotional responsibilities. In therapy, my job is to support you with care, honesty, boundaries, and professional guidance so you have space to explore yourself more openly.
Yes, I often do. I believe therapy continues between sessions, and having something to reflect on, practice, or notice helps keep the work active and prevents us from losing momentum. Depending on your needs, this might include journaling, coping skills practice, reflection questions, or readings. I try to make it meaningful, manageable, and relevant to what we are working on.
Yes. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should feel collaborative, respectful, and tailored to you. I value creating a space that is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental, where we can explore both the deeper roots of your struggles and practical ways to help you feel more supported in daily life.
