You might be a high-achiever, but internally, you feel anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or empty. Or perhaps you are navigating an important life change that has left you feeling aimless and questioning your true sense of self. If you feel exhausted from holding everything together, I am here to help you unpack your stress, set important boundaries, and grow into an enlightened, thriving version of yourself. I am a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker, psychotherapist, and mental performance coach currently practicing in the New York area. I focus on individual psychotherapy for adults navigating issues such as grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and stage of life transitions. I graduated with an MSW University of Southern California, where I also earned two additional graduate certificates in substance abuse and addiction in social work and advanced clinical social work practice. I bring a warm, open, and personalized approach to each session that will make you feel safe and able to express yourself about sensitive matters. Together, we will identify and challenge negative thoughts, determine the root causes of your daily behaviors, and evaluate which treatment modalities best fit your needs. I will help improve your well-being and foster personal growth by increasing self-confidence, finally following through on your goals instead of cycling through motivation and burnout, and communicating your needs without guilt. I do not expect my clients to give me their trust, I expect to earn it. I work hard to ensure you receive the nuanced care you need to have faith in my ability to help you succeed and prioritize your goals. I will both challenge you to reach important truths as well as give you the support you need to feel at ease when exploring tough topics. I look at every client experience as a shared journey and believe that everyone is capable of healing, recovery, growth, satisfaction, and discovery in life. Prior to my career in mental health counseling, I was a visual designer and communications professional at various publishing houses in New York City. I earned a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Kenyon College, a master's degree in communication, culture, and technology from Georgetown University, attended the Columbia Publishing Course, and earned a professional certificate in graphic and digital design from Parsons School of Design. Having worked in publishing and creative industries in New York City, I understand the pressure of constantly having to prove yourself and dealing with exhaustion, competition, and burnout. I sought therapy to help me deal with these issues and was inspired to transition into a career that would allow me to bring the same relief, support, and solace to others. You do not have to navigate this alone. Book your first session with me today and open the door to a better, happier, healthier you.

I am truly an open book. While our work is always centered on you, I believe that appropriate self-disclosure can strengthen connection, normalize experiences, and make therapy feel more human and less clinical. I love engaging in real, thoughtful conversation and think that, when utilized properly, transparency can build trust and help people feel more accepted and embraced for exactly who they are.
Losing both of my parents before the age of 30 profoundly shaped my path toward this work. Navigating grief, adversity, and the process of rebuilding my sense of self gave me a deep appreciation for what clients bring into therapy. Navigating grief, adversity, and the process of rebuilding my sense of self gave me a deep appreciation for what clients bring into therapy. Alongside my personal experience, I've drawn on training in social work, addiction treatment, and life coaching to build a clinical practice grounded in both evidence-based methods and genuine understanding of what people carry.
Our relationship is intentionally different because it is designed entirely around you. Unlike friendships or family relationships, there is no expectation of reciprocity, caretaking, or managing my feelings. You don't need to filter yourself, protect me, or worry about being too much. At the same time, therapy is still a human relationship - I bring warmth, openness, and honest engagement, with the clear boundaries that make it safe to explore what you might not share elsewhere.
Before entering the mental health field, I spent over five years working as a visual designer and communications professional in New York City. That work continues to shape how I approach creativity and problem-solving in therapy. My path into clinical work included graduate training at USC (MSW) and Georgetown (MA), specialized certification in substance-use disorders, and professional life coaching training. Each of those experiences informs how I think about long-term change, discipline, and the emotional weight of demanding academic and professional environments - something many of my clients navigate as well.
Yes, when it's clinically appropriate and something you're open to. My primary modality often includes CBT, which benefits from practicing skills between sessions, and clients frequently find that having something tangible to try or reflect on deepens the work. That said, therapy is collaborative, and I never push structured activities on someone who isn't ready for them. If a more process-oriented approach fits you better, we go that way.
