Therapy is a welcoming space you can look forward to each week, where you can focus on becoming the best version of yourself. It is a safe haven for learning new skills and sharing joys and struggles. In therapy, you can truly be yourself without fear of judgment; it's a place where you can laugh, cry, reflect, and open up about your experiences. This journey helps you gain insight into your past and present and empowers you to navigate your future with greater understanding and clarity.
In our first session we will put together some goals based on the things you want to accomplish in therapy. These goals will help focus our sessions and keep track of the progress you want to make in your life. We will use our sessions to develop skills and help you gain a better understanding of what you want out of life and how to improve. Each person's time in therapy may be vary but that will depend solely on your level of comfort, progress, and overall success.
I am in-network with several insurance carriers including Cigna/Evernorth, Optum/United Health Care, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. I am also certified as an out-of-network provider for Tricare which means you can be reimbursed for sessions (ask our billing team more about how to do that). Billing for our sessions works the same as when you go to your doctor. After our session our billing department will submit the claims to your insurance and they will process it based on your policy. I would encourage you to check with your insurance carrier about your financial responsibilities. If they say you have a deductible, i would encourage you to find out the following: 1. How much is my deductible 2. How much of my deductible have I met 3. What dates does it reset?
